WHAT DOES THE COURSE PROVIDE?Certificate IV in Community Services Work is a nationally recognised accredited course which provides the necessary skills and training to work within aged care and community care organisations. WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS QUALIFICATION?On completion of the course you will be qualified to work as an Community Support Worker, Case Worker, Support Worker, Family Support Worker, Mental Health Worker. ENTRY REQUIREMENTSStudents must have basic literacy and numeracy skills. TRAINING DELIVERY AND ASSESSMENTThis training is offered, either by face to face, flexible work based or distance studies. Assessment is competency based. Your tutor will provide you with the information required for this qualification. STUDENT SUPPORTOur students are our main priority and as such, we endeavour to support them in their studies. A variety of student support methods is offered, from ongoing one on one tutorial support as arranged between tutor and student by making an appointment, to group support when required. A tutor is available to answer and assist with any questions the student may have. QUALIFICATIONOn completion of the course the student will receive a Certificate IV in Community Services Work. Those who complete only part of the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for units completed.
