WHAT DOES THE COURSE PROVIDE?Certificate IV in Community Services (Information, Advice and Referral) is a nationally recognised accredited course which provides necessary skills and training to work within community as a Personal Advisor. WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS QUALIFICATION?On completion of the course, the student will be able to assist customers towards economic and social participation by accurately referring them to service providers and monitoring their progress and records. ENTRY REQUIREMENTSStudents must have basic literacy and numeracy skills TRAINING DELIVERY AND ASSESSMENTThis training is offered, either by face to face, flexible work based or distance studies. Assessment is competency based. Your tutor will provide you with the information required for this qualification. STUDENT SUPPORTOur students are our main priority and as such, we endeavour to support them in their studies. A variety of student support methods is offered, from ongoing one on one tutorial support as arranged between tutor and student by making an appointment, to group support when required. A tutor is available to answer and assist with any questions the student may have. QUALIFICATIONOn completion of the course the student will receive a Certificate IV in Community Services (Information, Advice and Referral). Those who complete only part of the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for units completed.
