WHAT DOES THE COURSE PROVIDE?Certificate III in Aged Care is a nationally recognised accredited course which provides necessary skills and training to work within aged care organisations and/or residential facilities. WHAT CAN I DO WITH THIS QUALIFICATION?On completion of the course you will be qualified to work as an Assistant in Nursing, Support Worker, Carer, Personal Care Assistant, Home Care Assistant, Field Officer, Community Care Worker and In-home Respite Worker. ENTRY REQUIREMENTSStudents must have basic literacy and numeracy skills. TRAINING DELIVERY AND ASSESSMENTThis training is offered, either by face to face, flexible work based or distance studies. STUDENT SUPPORT
Our students are our main priority and as such, we endeavour to support them in their studies. A variety of student support methods is offered, from ongoing one on one tutorial support as arranged between tutor and student by making an appointment, to group support when required. A tutor is available to answer and assist with any questions the student may have. QUALIFICATIONOn completion of the course the student will receive a Certificate III in Aged Care.
