Basic Wound Care Management

Learning Outcomes:

This workshop has been specifically developed for the Community Services and Healthcare workers.

On completion of this workshop  you will receive a Certificate of Participation and should be able to put into practice your knowledge of:

1. The Basic anatomy and physiology of the skin
2. Age related skin changes
3. Factors affecting Healing
4. The basic principles and prevention of wounds
5. Simple wound care products and there use

This is offered as a workshop only, and no assessment is required for completion.

This workshop is run when minimum numbers have been reached.

For organisational groups, a minimum of 10 participants is required.
